2021 SEC Softball Tournament: Results, recaps, scores, updates - Team Speed KillsBating to a home run isn’t easy but something that is easy is trying as a team. Softball takes 9 people on a field hitting, stealing, and sliding to be able to bring a teammate home. Being a student-athlete comes with a lot of obstacles and to be able to do school and practice can be challenging but our La Joya Lobos girls’ softball work hard every single day to achieve their goals.

With the 2022 school year our girls are appreciated to be able to play the sport they love. On March 10th the girls took a win against the Westview Knights with a score of 18 to 7. Our girls are learning new things every single day with our new coaches this year. The girls learned win or lose it is a team sport we win together; we lose together, and we grow off our mistakes. The way the girls have improved since the first time they showed up on pre-season and tryouts has been amazing their coach are very proud of them.

The girls always have so much energy in the dugout. Always bringing each other up on good or bad days and are always there for each other no matter what, they are always cheering each other on as they are batting and they commuting to each other.
