“Caramels are only a fad. Chocolate is a permanent thing.” – Milton Hershey

As we all know, Hershey is a huge chocolate company and is well known for its top chocolate bars; Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Almonds, and Cookies n Cream. After all the success it has gotten, Hershey is releasing a new candy bar called, Hershey’s Gold!

The new Hershey’s Gold is rumored to be released on December 1st, 2017. And is also a candy bar produced by Hershey that will not contain chocolate. It will be made out of Caramelized Creme and will contain “Peanuts & Pretzels”.

“Hershey makes a great and delicious brand of chocolate, but I honestly think that this new Hershey Gold isn’t going to be as good as they make it seem because it isn’t going to have any actual chocolate in it.” Stated Mathew Mendoza, a Senior attending La Joya Community High School.

“I think that the Hershey’s Gold will be something different than what we really are used to since Hershey is known to have Chocolate Bars and not many candy bars.” Stated Cassandra Villalobos, a Senior at La Joya Community High School.

“I have some mix feelings about this new Hershey bar, since it really does just seem to be a remake of the Hershey Take 5 bar, only without the milk chocolate in it.” Said Mariah Rodriguez, a Senior at La Joya High School.

Hershey released a candy bar in 2004 by the name, Take 5 which was a chocolate bar that contained Pretzels, Caramel, Peanuts, Peanut Butter, and Milk Chocolate.

It may be like the Hershey Take 5, but we will only find out when it is released in December, 2017.
