Taeya Benally
Taeya is a Junior at La Joya Community High School in Avondale, AZ. In her time at La Joya, she has been enrolled in AP and advance classes since freshman year, also being accepted in the medical assisting program at West-MEC. When done with high school, she will receive the American Heart Association CPR/AED certification and learn the skills of a entry-level medical assistants. She is very interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, and also wants to pursue a career in Pediatrics. She wants to works with kids and eventually further her career in the medical field and study to become an OB-GYN. OB-GYN's are doctors who have completed four years of training in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She plans to continue her education at the University of Hawaii.
