Eye of the Lobo

Elysia Casillas
Elysia is a perspective driven journalist from La Joya Community High School in Avondale Arizona. She is the 2020-2021 Yearbook Editor and SkillsUSA competitor. She is taking four media classes to enhance her photography skills and create videos like the announcements, and create the yearbook. A lot has happened to her at her time at La Joya and can give advice based on her experience and struggles. She has had to step up to help her family and be more accepting of her younger sister.  She made a promise to have one of her films on the big screen and plans to go through with it. She will go to school and earn to bachelor's degree, hoping to become a teacher but also writing as a Journalist and filming like a Director.
