Phasmophobia is a 4-player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use all the ghost hunting equipment at your disposal to gather as much evidence as you can. Phasmophobia can be considered a horror game if you decide to play alone but, playing with friends you more than likely would be laughing and having fun when and your friend are being attacked by a ghost.

Phasmophobia has multiple maps, ghosts, and ghost hunting equipment to help you identify which ghost is in the location your investigating.

When you first boot up the game you start at level 1 with no money. Money is something you need to buy equipment like cameras, flashlights, spirit boxes, and other ghost hunting equipment. Your level is also an indication of which places your able to investigate (the higher the level the bigger the location).

Once u get to a location you should first look at the whiteboard for info on the ghost’s name. (saying its name will anger it making it easier to figure out what type of ghost it is). But you also need to use your equipment to pinpoint the exact ghost type. For example, EMF Level 5, Spirit Box, And Ghost orbs indicate a jinn ghost type. If you get the ghost type correct you earn more money and experience to level to buy more equipment and investigate harder locations.

Pros:

Phasmophobia is mostly a game you can only enjoy with friends playing by yourself is an option but to get the full experience it’s best to play with one other person or a group of three or four.

Phasmophobia is a game that anyone can pick up and play with good replayability for the lower levels. The game does a good job of quickly explaining what you are supposed to be doing and how to do it. the game’s controls are also very minimal helping the player quickly learn and play with ease.

Cons:

Phasmophobia gets really repetitive after a certain point, mainly after hitting the higher levels. Many players have felt that the game had nothing to offer after they unlock every location and have almost every piece of equipment.

This game’s developers also don’t bring new updates to the game to give more value to the replayability. This is the main reason why the game starts getting repetitive over time.
