Need for Speed is a racing game where your character tries to be the fastest of them all. In the many iterations of the Need for Speed franchise you play a set character, sometimes in real life cities, states, and countries.

Your goal is to race people, buy faster cars, and to be the best racer in the city. In some games you can meet famous people and interact with them. A couple examples being in Need for Speed (2015) your character can meet the famous Ken Block, as well as in the most recent Need for Speed Unbound (2022), your character can meet the famous rapper ASAP Rocky and even claim his car for yourself.

Some of the Need for Speed games have sequels like the Need for Speed Underground series. There are only two games in that series, but they continue right after another. As more Need for Speed games released, the number of cars and customization grew. Eventually in newer titles, you can now own super cars such as Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Pagani just to name a few.

You are able to make some of the slowest cars into the fastest vehicles that can rival super cars. If you enjoy racing games, then Need for Speed is the game series for you.
