Reports+from+a+reporter

Mr. Moreno is a history teacher that teaches both world history and US history for only a year!

Mr. Moreno talks about both the experience of being a history teacher and being an ex news reporter!

Mr. Moreno first talks about how it is like being a history teacher and explains how he feels about it he shares that he loves being apart of the kids life and how he thinks it’s important to watch and connect with the kids. He loves his job because he feels like it matches his personality and shares it feels like it’s exactly where he is supposed to be right now.

Secondly, he talks about how it was like being a news reporter for 12 news with his co worker Antonia Mehia. Mr. Moreno talks about how Antonia and him had the most chaotic day of their lives working for 12 news, when they were sent to go up North to the carefree cape creek area and as they were heading to the area they were sent to snow was heading their way a lot and the roads were icy. They hydroplaned which means the tires lose traction on the ground so the van just starts to slide as its sliding it begins to slide in the other lane which had a semi truck heading straight their way. At the last moment the tires got traction and swerved into the other lane. Mr. Moreno explains that was one of the most chaotic event days ever, except for a day where he went from being on a private jet in scottsdale to interviewing a pregnant lady with stage 3 lung cancer and they would have to induce labor on the lady.
