Ahhh, Warped Tour, home of the rock and roll, summer jams, and mosh pits. Started in 1995, Warped tour quickly became a well-known festival around the country. Kevin Lyman, founder of Warped tour, decided to create one of the best rock festivals that is inclusive to all genres of music.  It wasn’t until 1996 that the world famous shoe brand, Vans became the head sponsor making it the Vans Warped Tour.

Despite Vans being the biggest sponsors, there are other companies that sponsor the tour as well. Other companies such as Journeys and Monster Energy drink have their own stages where worldwide known bands and artists perform. Kevin Lyman created a place where fans of different artists and bands can come together and enjoy the magic of music at a low price,

“Our goal is to give fans a six hour arena show with a multimedia experience of live music and activities for under $30 bucks.”

The Vans Warped Tour has come a long way in music history. Fans from around the country look forward to this event because they feel as if they are one step closer to the artists they love the most. With almost 100 artists, underground or not, the Warped Tour attendees can connect to either one or all of the artists and that defines the beauty of music. 

This year, Warped Tour will travel to 42 cities with 75+ bands and 7 stages to play on. Warped Tour is all about experiencing the magic of music and people around you.
