Marissa Miranda is an aspiring photographer and journalist at La Joya Community High School in Avondale, Arizona. She is a Junior currently taking the 2024-2025 Advanced Digital Communications Class and upcoming SkillsUSA competitor. She is taking the class in hopes of learning and enhancing her skills in photography and video. She has only been at La Joya for two years. A lot has happened to her on campus here at La Joya Community High School that has helped her improve as a person. She plans to one day go on to go to competition for photography or video. She made a promise to herself that she would succeed and present the best work possible. Marissa one day hopes to pursue a career in photography, video, or marine biology. She hopes that as she grows, she will get to observe the growth of her and her colleagues.
