Cute and Easy Mini Caramel Apples

The beauty of fall is among us, and you know what that means…

Yes, it’s apple season! Apples are great for lots of snacks but here’s a quick and easy treat that’s a must try for the season!

Make sure you have:

  • Any apples of your choosing
  • Caramel candies
  • Lollipop or Popsicle sticks
  • Wax paper or a wired rack to allow the apples to dry
  • Metal coffee scoop
  • Peeler
  • Saucepan

Directions:

  1. Start the process with freshly washed apples and use your peeler to peel the apples completely.
  2. Use the metal coffee scoop to scoop out mini circles from the apples.
  3. Once you have your mini apples scooped out, stick the lollipop or Popsicle sticks through them.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the caramel candies over medium heat until they are completely melted.
  5. Allow the caramel sauce to cool until it is at room temperature. This step is very important. If you stick the apples in the sauce when it’s hot, the caramel will not stick, so keep this in mind.
  6. Once your caramel has cooled, dip the mini apples into the saucepan, covering them entirely in the caramel, and place them on the wax paper or wired rack to dry before eating.
