Hayley Diaz is a sophomore student attending LaJoya Community High School. She is in theater something she’s been in since freshman year, she really enjoys.

Hayley loves to act just because it takes her to another world and she gets away from society. She also gets to be who she wants to be without being judge by anyone. She was asked, who she looks up to in theater her responds was. “I look up to Ms. Ludlow, she has everything down and ready like she knows what she wants and that’s how I want to be.” So far she has been in 3 plays and her favorite one so far is ‘The Chance’ just because it was the first play she’s ever been in and also she got to experience new things.

One way she stays connected with LaJoya is by making sure everyone comes and supports them in plays and dances. Something else she was asked was, what she was looking forward in theater her responds was. “ Was being able to communicate because when I was growing up I never talked to a lot of people because I was shy and I was always scared and nervous to talk to new people because people would think of me differently and me being in theater showed I can be whoever I want and no one can tell me anything.”

She was asked, what goal do you have set for yourself her respond was. “My goal is to get out of high school with a good GPA and be able to get out of Arizona and travel the world.”
