In this movie review, I am reviewing the movie “Cars” by Disney Pixar.

The movie Cars is about a character named Lightning McQueen, commonly referred to as McQueen is a racecar in the movie and he competes in races and is the main character in the movie.

The movie starts off with McQueen winning a couple of races in other city’s but on his way to another one. “Ka-Chow!” said Lightning McQueen. His truck driver falls asleep on the road and takes the wrong exit and takes him further from the next town he is supposed to be at, he decides to take matters into his own hands and leaves the truck to get to the race on time.

As McQueen is on his way to the biggest race of his name, he gets stranded in a small town named radiator springs. He got in trouble because he was speeding in the town and because they don’t get visitors often, they put a boot on him so that he won’t leave and they make him rebuild the roads because they were all damaged, once he is done with that he leaves and gets to his race.

The race is very intense, and his opponents are all eager to beat the number one racer in the world, it comes down to the final lap and he is supposed to take a pit stop because his tires are losing tread. He decides to do his own thing and it almost costed him the race; his tire blew but because he was so ahead, he luckily had time to get close to the finish line. “Focus. Speed. I am speed,” said Lightning McQueen. His opponents were coming closer and closer, and it came down to the final second and as two other opponents were about to pass him, McQueen sticks his tongue out to win the race.

Later in the movie he returns to radiator springs to get a paint job and he recruits a new pit crew. In my opinion this movie was really good, and I will be doing another one. “This grumpy old race car I know once told me something, ‘It’s an empty cup,” said Lightning McQueen.
