Me: You don’t have to answer any questions that I’m going to ask you if you don’t want to, if you don’t want to. So, my first question is, did you originally want to become a teacher?
No, I first wanted to be a pilot. A pilot. Yes, that’s pretty cool. And it’ll fly the plane, but I couldn’t afford it. So, I couldn’t get into that. Yeah, this is my plan B.
Did you go to the school for anything else other than teaching?
Yes, I started with Criminal justice, and then I switched to engineering and then I switched to education.
Yeah, I want to go to school for engineering.
Yeah, you should.
What made you want to go to school for that?
For criminal justice. It’s all because I wanted to go to college right after high school Uh, but that didn’t work out for me. I, I didn’t want to have a low paying job.
So, did you have any inspiration for wanting to become that?
I’ll say so I won my freshman teacher was really good at mad and that always inspired me to do well in that I was thinking if you can do it then I can too.
What was your dream job as a kid?
Want to be a fire fighter pilot for the Air Force, or the Army or whatever. I wanted to fly the Jets fighting Jets.
If you’re struggling, what usually keeps you going?
I’m struggling. What keeps me going? Yeah, like in what sense?
Like, if you’re struggling. Like at work and like, you don’t know what to do. Like what do you usually? Like their struggles everywhere and other old times in all aspects like financially housing, you know, family. But in generally when I struggle, I just fight through it because I everybody goes through struggles and uh, and you just got to take it, you know, and that makes you stronger. And then it gives you experience. So, whenever you have another struggle like that, similar to it, you know how to react.
What’s your ideal way of teaching?
My ideal way of teaching? I do, we do, and you do. I’ll do it first, then we’ll do it together and then you do it by yourself.
What’s the most important thing for you to remember? While teaching your students?
The most important thing, predict questions, predict misconceptions, predict mistakes and share them with you guys.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
Teaching math teaching math. This is my yeah, I’m doing this till the end.
