What’s the point in eating healthy without a little cheat here and there?
That’s right, it’s time to give in and try a new recipe: cheesecake-stuffed strawberries! And before you run off and decide they’re too hard or too time consuming to make, it’s only a 20-minute prep time. TOTALLY worth it!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pint of fresh strawberries (hulled and cored)
- 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of confectioners’ sugar
- 3 graham crackers, crushed, or as needed
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
- Beat cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth.
- Spoon the mixture into a piping bag or resealable bag with a snipped corner.
- Fill the cored strawberries with the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle some of the crushed graham crackers over the tops of your filled strawberries.
- Lastly, enjoy your marvelous littleĀ desserts!
Note: Don’t you worry if your outcome doesn’t look likeĀ the displayed strawberries; the taste is what matters!
