This year’s yearbook, Mission: Achieved, means more than any other yearbook we’ve had. For the first time in La Joya history, we’ve earned an A rating, and that completely shaped the theme! This year wasn’t just another school year, it was the year we proved what our school is capable of, and the year we finally reached a goal everyone has been working toward for a long time.
The cover captures that feeling. It has this futuristic mission idea, like something out of a high-tech briefing. The big gold A in the center is the main focus, and it sends the message right away: we did it. It’s bold, simple, and something everyone can be proud of! It kind of feels like a badge our whole school earned together, not just a symbol on a book.
All the digital lines, the grid in the background, and the “Mission: Achieved” text make it look like we completed a huge operation, and honestly, that’s exactly what earning the A rating felt like. It took years of work from students, teachers, and staff, so choosing a cover that looks like a finished mission file just makes sense.
The reason we chose this cover is clear. It celebrates something huge, something that changed the way people see our school. It shows how far La Joya has come and reminds us that when we work together, we can achieve goals that once seemed impossible. This yearbook doesn’t just hold memories, it represents a major win in our school’s story!
