The Ben’s Bells Project is an organization that is non-profit and wants nothing more than to give back. The start of this monumental project was shortly after young Ben died before his 3rd birthday. Ben’s family was moved by the kindness as well as support that was given to them from their family, friends, and even strangers, that it inspired them to start the Ben’s Bells Project.
This organization has one mission and one mission only! Their mission is to inspire, educate and motivate one another to realize the impact that intentional kindness and to empower individuals to always strive to be the their best and make someone’s day.
As a little kid you were always told “treat others how you want to be treated”. The Ben’s Bells Project is just the way to do so!
Ben’s Bells are not sold for any type of profit. Instead, every year thousands of Ben’s Bells are randomly hung around the Phoenix community for people to find and take home as their own.
Each bell represents a random act on kindness. Christy Brown is the studio manager in the Ben’s Bells Project store downtown in Phoenix. Christy was asked if she had ever made a bell and if so how was it.
“Of course! I have made more bells than I can count! It is such a fun, relaxing, and therapeutic activity. It’s fun to come with friends and family and just sit and paint and talk!”
So if you are looking for a fun and relaxing way to give back to the community, head to downtown Phoenix and start your Ben’s Bells experience!
