His rookie season was his best and being MVP was the spark of Derrick Rose being great in NBA. Unfortunately, the Bulls weren’t good enough and the start of lower bottom injuries happened. When Derrick Rose tore his ACL in which some would say, is the reason the Chicago Bulls didn’t go into the finals, his life changed.

When his return came after his long time being benched and wearing suits instead of his number 1 jersey, fans everywhere were amazed and happy. Sadly for the second time, another injury. What could fans do when this happened? Pray and hope he recovers fast or could they just give up hope and change team? Many might have did the second, but his own boys were day ones and still believed in him.

With how his health was the going, people could say that the Bulls thought smart by trading him to the New York Knicks for the 2016-2017 season and sadly, the New York Knicks are not a good team so many say that Rose was used poorly by joining. An anonymous sports fan who enjoys watching Derrick Rose says, “Once he joined the Knicks, I believed he would make it since he had Joakim Noah and Carmelo Anthony with him, but the team isn’t performing well and those three were being wasted on that team” This fan had their right to say their opinion and some mat agree, but other disagree even though they can all agree that Derrick Rose was done for because once again, he was required to get a fourth knee surgery.

Rose was hurt once more and in his nine year career, it seems that he should give up because he wasn’t talked about much like how other players are who don’t always get hurt. Sadly Derrick Rose may have to be done with career.

Luckily however, Soundcloud rapper and as fans would say, the best rapper of our century, Lil Pump recorded his hit single “D Rose” and with that song, there is a reason why he dropped out of Harvard to gain the best rapper career ever. His song contains the lyrics of him shouting D Rose over and over and it has made Rose relevant again some would say.

Now that he has gained clout and respect, Derrick Rose got traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and is with great people on a good team. “I think this will be the rise of Derrick Rose as a basketball player now and he might even get a ring” says one eager fan. Meanwhile some aren’t happy with this trade with a Cavs fan saying “Rose will just sit on bench”. Whatever people say about it, Derrick Rose will still be getting paid and as of now get hurt once again, except this time it’s a minor injury with his ankle.
