Hello helloo Lobos! back again with another story! this story is about how much our modern technology has changed and impacted the way things are taught and learned. without further ado, let’s dive into this topic!
Overall technology has greatly expanded access to education thought the world! now a days there are massive information spread out through books, audio, images, and even videos and now available at our own fingertips! teaching and learning can now be accessed online like Khan Academy, MOOCs, Podcasts, Traditional online degree programs, and this is all due thanks to modern technology we have today. Teens and kids now can be taught ONLINE now and not in person. In the article I am reading it states, “Because of the access to information and educational opportunity that technology has enabled, in many classrooms today we see the teacher’s role shifting to the “guide on the side” as students take more responsibility for their own learning using technology to gather relevant information.” Now a days students can be on their own pace of reading and learning. Students can collaborate on projects with other kids by using technology-based tools like Google docs and Wikis instead of working by themselves. Classrooms can no longer be a barrier for students because technology enables new ways of learning, communicating and working collaboratively with other peers.
Technology is a very powerful tool for adults, kids, and teens. This new evolution of technology we are seeing is now a resource for kids and teens and even adults to learn new things and be more connected and inversed in our new world where technology is a common thing to see and we can expect more inventions in the future. Technology has shifted the change of education so that everyone can have access and be available to everyone anywhere.
This comes to the end of my story. I hope this is a better understanding of our modern world and how everything is being impacted and changed over the years of new and improved technology that still continues to be developed over the years to come.
