For most people it causes them to be antisocial with friends or family. It might even cause them to self-harm because they hold it in, and have no one to talk to. A lot of people have hard times coping, but be that one friend that they can trust.
It is not healthy for someone to hold onto stress for so long. Healthy ways to cope with stress is eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise on a regular basis, get plenty of sleep, and give yourself a break. All ways you can cope with stress, or any problems.
