As the 2017-2018 school year ends, students look back at the memories that they have made. Seniors are leaving and moving on to start their life, while Freshman just started high school and want to remember their first year and how they came into a new environment.
The yearbook is called The Piece of the Pack because it fits perfectly with how the students here connect with each other. A Piece of the Pack represents the puzzle pieces and how the students, and the community put those pieces together.
Everyone at school should buy the yearbook because it is a book filled with all the memories students made, which they would be able to look back after they have graduated from high school. Senior, Karen Chavira said, “I am excited for the yearbook because I feel like they focused more on the seniors, who will be leaving soon, but they also put the spotlight on every student, including the freshman, sophomores, and juniors”. The yearbook makes sure that all students are in it, not just on the class mugs pages.
Senior, Samantha Salgado said, “I am excited for the yearbook this year because I can’t wait to look at all the memories I left behind this school year”.
Yearbook staff memeber, Alexus Marquez said, “the yearbook describes our generation today from the esthetic that we went for“.
A Piece of the Pack is on sale right now at the bookstore. Go to the bookstore and buy your yearbook for $70, or go to Balfour website, before prices go up. Yearbooks will not be sold after April 30th until May 10th after Lobo Fest, which is an event everyone should join as well on May 9th.
