Tired of spending $5 every single day for a Starbucks drink (that’s not really real coffee, it’s truly just sugar, milk and ice, maybe a hint of real coffee)? Don’t have the time to use a coffee machine with a filter and ground coffee beans? But still need that caffeine boost in the morning? The solution you’re looking for is the French Coffee Press. It’s a quick easy solution for the perfect coffee fix.
Materials Needed:
- Finely- Grounded Coffee
- French Coffee Press
- Kettle
- Water
- Mug
Directions:
- Start by preparing the water by boiling it using a stove-top kettle or an electric kettle.
- Pour enough water to accommodate how many cups you are planning to make. You don’t want to pour boiling water into your French Press, so let the water sit out from a couple minutes from pouring it into the French Press.
- Insert plunger and top of the French Press making sure the water does not touch it.
- Scoop the desired amount of spoonfuls of finely-grounded coffee onto leveled top. The more the spoonfuls of coffee, the stronger the brew.
- Close the top of the French Press and let the steam from the hot water brew the finely grounded coffee – this will enhance the aroma of your coffee.
- After a couple minutes, press down on the plunge of the French Press slowly into the water.
- Leave the plunge sit at the bottom of the French Press for a couple seconds before lifting it up again.
- Remove all of the remaining coffee from the leveled top.
- Pour yourself a nice cup of brewed coffee and add in any desired fix-in (creamer, sugar, etc.)
- Enjoy!
