La Joya Community High School is home to the Fighting Lobos and serves approximately 2300 students. Here at La Joya, we feel that each individual is an important piece of our pack; therefore, great care is spent cultivating a learning environment that produces self-directed learners who are valuable, contributing members of their community.
Just as the proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child,” we see this first hand here at La Joya Community High School. The word “community” is key to us here at La Joya because our traditions have been rooted and grown by the communities around us.
We even have several staff members on campus who once attended La Joya and are now leading our pack.
We believe that being Positive, Accountable, Connected, and Knowledgeable will create a space for students and staff who are learning today, leading tomorrow.
These traits are shown through our academic excellence, co-curricular experiences, and after-school activities such as sports and clubs—many of which our students and staff participate in daily.
La Joya Community High School will continue creating a community of excellence, while focusing on the future, today!
