Monster Hunter World: is it worth playing in 2021?

Monster Hunter world came out in 2018 and was super fun for new players but is it worth buying and playing the game in 2021?

Monster hunter world is a game where you of course hunt monsters of all sizes from small to ridiculously huge. You can use the things you gathered throughout the world to create new weapons and armor. But is it still worth playing in 2021?

The short answer is yes! This game still has a lot to offer for new players and still gets consistent updates and events.

Here is why.

1: This game has a lot of replayability:

For example, every monster you defeat gives you a new armor and weapon tree to unlock and build after you hunt down the specific monster. There are 31 monsters all having a different difficulty grade determining your level to put this in perspective.

2: The actual gameplay.

Once you get to a certain point you will be fighting some of the monsters repeatedly but this does not get repetitive as their different interactions can happen, for example, you could try and hunt a monster, but another monster interferes and helps you or maybe even helps the other monster. Or maybe a monster is found in a different place or maybe even the monster is completely bigger than normal. The possibilities are vast.

3: The multiple weapons and armors

The player has access to a whole arsenal of weapons they can use from bows, greatswords, or twin daggers. You can upgrade your weapons to have varying elements like Poison, ice, water, fire, and fan-favorite explosion. you can also get multiple armor sets that resemble some of the features of the monster you hunted.
